Hi everyone! My name is Flora Yang (she/her/hers) and I am a junior in the College of Liberal Arts majoring in Human Physiology aspiring to be a neurosurgeon. Last year, I served on MSA’s Sexual Assault Task Force (SATF) and Basic Needs Task Force (BNTF) to better understand the systemic issues that plague our campus community. Currently, I serve as the Ranking Representative to the Board of Regents and am a member of the MSA Executive Board, in which I am the liaison between MSA and the Board of Regents to advocate for more than 60,000 students. Some of the notable work that I’ve been involved in includes: dining consultations, Break-up-with-your-landlord, Rename/Reclaim, and I’m now fighting for increased student minimum wage and demanding for more changes to be made at the Regents level.
Hello! My name is Zeke Jackson (he/him/his) and I am a junior majoring in Political Science and Finance and I'm aspiring to go to law school. As a former At-Large Representative, ALR, I worked hard with others to create S/N grading options for students during the ‘20-21 academic year. Currently, I serve as MSA’s Academic Affairs Committee Director, in which I lead a team of student advocates to make ACT/SAT scores an optional admissions component. Outside of school, I am the Executive Director at People for PSEO, a youth-led nonprofit that helps high school students earn free college credits.
